Leader of One Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you join the email list. If you sign up on our site to receive a Leader of One resource, we collect your name (if you provide it) and your email address.

When you buy the 7-Day Clarity Sprint. The 7-Day Clarity Sprint is a paid guide ($17). When you buy it, we receive the details needed to complete and support your order, such as your name, email address, and what you purchased.

When you contact us. If you email us, we receive whatever information you choose to include.

When you browse the site. Our site may use cookies or similar technologies and collect general analytics, such as which pages are visited and roughly how people find the site.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Deliver the resource you signed up for and send a follow-up email sequence
• Deliver the 7-Day Clarity Sprint after purchase and help with any order questions
• Reply when you contact us
• Understand how the site is used so we can improve it

We do not sell your personal information.

Email sign-ups and unsubscribing

Email sign-ups are handled through Kit, our email platform. When you join the list, Kit stores your email address and sends the Leader of One resource and follow-up emails.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can use it at any time to stop receiving marketing emails from us. We may still send a message that is needed to complete something you requested, such as delivering a purchase.

Purchases and payment

Purchases of the 7-Day Clarity Sprint are handled by Gumroad, a third-party checkout provider. That provider collects and processes your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy. Joudie Weekes LLC does not store full card numbers. We receive order information from the provider so we can deliver the guide and support you.

Google and YouTube API data

Leader of One uses YouTube API Services, through a Google Cloud app, to connect to Joudie Weekes's own YouTube channel with read-only access.

What we access. Channel-level analytics for Joudie's own channel, such as views, watch time, subscribers, and audience metrics. We do not access, collect, or store any Google or YouTube data belonging to site visitors, subscribers, customers, or any other user.

How we use it. Only for Joudie's own internal reporting, to understand how her content is performing.

What we do not do. We do not use this data for advertising. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties, except as needed to provide that internal reporting. We do not use it to train AI models.

How it is stored. Reports and data pulled through the connection are kept in access-controlled accounts used by Joudie Weekes LLC.

Retention and deletion. Stored YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days. If the connection is revoked, we will delete any stored YouTube API data within 30 days.

Limited Use. Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube and Google terms. By using YouTube, you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Revoking access. Access granted to this app can be revoked at any time through Google's security settings at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

Cookies and analytics

Our site may use cookies or similar technologies and basic analytics to understand traffic and improve the experience. You can usually control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or as long as the law requires. Email and purchase records are kept for 24 months after your last interaction with us, or deleted sooner if you ask. YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as described above.

Your choices: access and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing joudie@joudieweekes.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal or tax obligations.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children's privacy

Leader of One is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact joudie@joudieweekes.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
